Natural remedy for Piles

One of the most common lifestyle problems is piles or hemorrhoids. This condition is varicose and the veins just inside or outside the rectum are inflamed. Once you have gone through the all-fruit diet, start the diet of natural foods to allow you to soften your tools. Ensure that your diet is low in fat with not more than 50 grams of fat. Include plenty of skimmed milk, buttermilk, curd and cottage cheese made from skimmed milk; all vegetables excluding cabbage, onions, dried beans and peas; cooked and dried cereals, whole wheat chappatis and fruits and their juices. Your diet should include fruits like papaya, musk melon, apple and pear; green vegetables especially spinach and radish, wheat, porridge, whole meal cereals and milk. Avoid lentils and daals because they tend to constipate the bowels. Abstain from meat, fish, eggs, cheese, white sugar, sweets, rice, fried foods, white flour products, tea and coffee. Eat dry fruits like figs and raisins and coconuts.  
Your foods should be rich in vitamin C, bioflavonoids and vitamin E as they form the basis of treatment of haemorrhoids. Foods rich in these nutrients are fresh raw vegetables and fruits, especially cabbage, citrus fruits, whole grains, seeds and nuts. Vitamin B6 plays an important role in treating this disease. Research has indicated that piles have been cured when this nutrient was taken and hence ensure that you take 10 mg. of B6 after each meal.
Eating 4 or 5 dry figs soaked overnight in water after thorough washing along with the water in which they are soaked as soon as you get up in the morning is an excellent remedy for piles. You can take them similarly in the evening. Continue this treatment for 3 or 4 weeks. The tiny seeds present in the figs are excellent stimulant for the peristaltic movements of the intestines. This allows the faeces to pass easily and keeps the alimentary canal clean. Once the pressure on the anus is relieved, the haemorrhoids get contracted.
Cure bleeding piles with mango seeds. Collect the seeds during the mango season, dry them in shade powder them and store them for use as medicine.  Take this powder in the dose of about one and half gram to two grams with or without honey twice a day.
Jambul fruit is another excellent remedy for bleeding piles. Take this fruit with salt every morning for 2 or 3 months in its season. Eating this fruit in every season will bring about radical cure and prevent bleeding piles throughout your life.
White radish is another good remedy for piles. Grate the radish and mix it with honey to treat this problem. You can also take it as a juice with a pinch of salt added to it in the dosage of 60-90 ml in the morning and the evening. Apply white radish ground into the paste over the inflamed pile to relieve the pain and swelling.
Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Do not strain while passing the stool. Cold water treatment shrinks the veins and tones up their walls. You can do this treatment by sitting in a tub full of cold water for 2 minutes with your knees drawn up to the chin level. Your hips should be immersed in water. Do this process twice a day. Other water treatments beneficial in pile treatment are cold perineal douche and cold compress applied to the rectal region for an hour before sleep. Your personal hygiene is also very important. Wash the area around the anal opening with soap and warm water before drying it with towel.
Your exercise routine plays a vital corrective role in this disease. Movements that contract the abdominal muscles improve the circulation in the rectal region and eases congestion. Build your general health by going for outdoor exercises like walking and swimming. Yogic kriyas like jalneti and vamanadhouti as well as asanas like sarvangasana, vipritakarani and halasana provide therapeutic benefits. Sarvangasana is extremely useful as it drains the stagnant blood from the anus
